    This is a very rare find from the battlefield with clear battle damage from when it was destroyed it is a rear door from a Russian SU76 self-propelled gun. The door comes with a large impact hole in the middle of it also around one edge and a impact crack also with some very small amount of original paintwork not very clear to see both the hinges still move but the lock is broken. The door is rusty but not to bad mostly surface rust it is very solid and is in relic condition and has been very nicely cleaned and so unusual to find in this condition.The door was recovered from a destroyed SU76 of the 6th soviet Army lost in the battles against the German 4th Panzer Army recovered from the Dom River area from the battles of November- December 1942-1943 outside Stalingrad. The door comes with 2xA5 laminated information sheets with pictures.

    The SU-76 was a Soviet self-propelled gun with a 76mm main gun used during and after World War II. The SU-76 was based on a lengthened and widened version of the T-70 light tank chassis it entered service in 1943 and was produced until 1945 and 14,292 were made.
