This is a very rare part from a German bomber shot down during the battle of Britain there is very little of this aircraft around so parts are hard to find.This is a large aluminium airframe panel with a pipework end attached still with lots of original black paintwork remains very clear to see the part still retains a lot of its original colours it has been very well cleaned it has ripped and bent by the impact of the crash and is perfect for display or any collection the size of the part is 15 inches long and 11 inches wide in size.The part is from German Junkers Ju88 bomber shot down at 1.40pm on Sunday the 18th August 1940,the hardest day during the Battle of Britain and crashed at Aylesford in Kent.The part comes with 2 x A5 laminated information sheets with pictures of the crash site.

The Ju88 bomber crashed and burned out at Church Farm in Aylesford.
The crew oberfeldwebel K.Krebs was killed, Feldwebel O.Watermann,Unteroffizier H.Loffer and Sonderfuhrer Leutnant Buchmeier of LW.Kr.Ber.Kp4 all bailed out and were taken prisoner.
