This is a track link rubber pad which is not complete the metal base is still there with its maker markings and dated 1943 on the back that can be seen clearly from a German SDKFZ 250 half track .The link is rusty with rust damage but solid and in nice condition but missing its rubber pad it has been very well cleaned it is nice and solid not braking up which is perfect for display or any collection. The track link pad was recovered from the site of a destroyed German 250 half track used in the 46th Panzer Corps as it was recovered near the Village of Gnilets attacked by them during the opening offensive of operation citadel on 5th July 1943 during the attack on the Northern side of the Kursk salient from 5th July-12th July 1943 in Russia. The rubber shoe comes with a A5 laminated information card with pictures.
