    This is a rare find from the battlefield stick grenade wooden handle a complete bottom section of a M43 grenade which has snapped off it is 6 inches long a complete one is around 10 inches long. The wooden handle is in fantastic condition for fragile relic the wood is solid not braking up or crumbling it is still in very solid condition it has been lightly cleaned and still retains its original colour it is perfect for display or any collection .The stick grenade handle was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield it comes with A5 laminated information card with picture.
