This is an Original German soldiers memorial death card which is in nice complete condition with all its text clear to read the paper card has no real damage its is very solid and is perfect for display or any collection. This card is for Lieutenant Erwin Hartmann. The card reads for souvenirs to our loved ones sunny brave unforgettable son our kind hearted noble brother. He was a Lieutenant and battalion adjutant in a grenadier regiment. He won the west wall medal and the iron cross 1st and 2nd class. He was born on the 2nd of December 1918 in Mainz, he died on the 5th December 1943 as a result of the 1st of December 1943 hard fighting in the east he suffer severe wounds.
