This is a American soldiers M1 springfield carbine magazine lovely condition semi-relic condition.The magazine is maker marked on the side which is complete with all its internal spacer and ammunition tray which moves but is stiff and is complete with its bottom plate it does not have any rust holes or damage only a small dent and very light surface rust but nothing to bad it has most of its original black paintwork it is solid condition not braking up or falling apart and is empty of all ammunition it is cleaned up very well perfect for display or any collection.The magazine was recovered years ago and was in a private collection until it was found on a local brocante in September 2020 in the village of Bras near Bastogne in Belgium ware it has been since the battle in 1945.from the winter of 1944 during Hitlers last great offensive in the West.
