    This is an original world war 2 issue M35 [model 1935]French soldiers water bottle but it is missing its cloth cover but fantastic condition with no holes and has some original paintwork left but all its original colour. The water bottle is in nice solid condition very rare to find in this condition and its complete with its leather carry strap which is dated 1939 and is its lovely brown leather colour the bottle has been nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection. This bottle came from a private collection in Dunkirk so left over from the Dunkirk pocket of 1940 a very nice relic from the famous battle.

    The Battle of Dunkirk took place in Dunkirk, France, during the Second World War between the Allies and Nazi Germany. As part of the Battle of France on the Western Front, the Battle of Dunkirk was the defence and evacuation of British and Allied forces in Europe from 26 May – 4 June 1940.
