    This is a very rare pair of aluminium airframe sections with yellow sand camouflage paintwork remains.The parts which are in lovely condition that still has very clear to see some of original yellow camouflage paintwork remains and still retain most of there original colours and is wonderfully clean it has ripped and bent by the impact of the crash they are very solid it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection and are 4-5 inches long tubed parts. This is rare to get such nice parts from a aircraft lost in the Desert war of 1939-1943 the part comes from RAF P-40 Kittyhawk number 112 squadron which was shot down in early 1942 and crashed near RAF Gambut which is 31 miles from Tobruk during the air war over the North African Desert.The remains of the aircraft were recovered in the 1970's and was part of the Blake Hall Airscene museum collection. The museum in Essex shut down in 2007 and comes with A5 laminated information card with pictures.
