This is a rare to find very large World war 1 shell case which is a German 15cm long brass shell case. The case which is in very nice condition with no major damage it still retain's its shiny brass colour the case has its original markings on the bottom of it including the date June 1918 clear to see.These cases are very rare to get because of there size they were mostly re used or melted down after the war. This case has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection The case was found on the Ypres battlefield 1914-1918 a very nice artillery relic from the famous Ypres salient.
