Broken British army SRD jug remains nice clean relics recovered from Bray Dunnes area in the Dunkirk Pocket of May-June 1940 during the battle of France and the Low Countries

This is a group of Broken British army SRD jug remains which is maker marked and embossed with the black stamped markings. The jug parts are in very nice condition which retain there original colour they do have some dirt and muck attached and are very solid not braking up at all and are 3-4 inches long and are a nice find from this famous battlefield.The parts were recovered from the Beach area at Bray Dunnes in the Dunkirk Pocket of May-June 1940 during the battle of France and the Low Countries and comes with A5 laminated information card.

Operation Dynamo, the evacuation of the British expeditionary force (BEF) and other Allied troops from the French seaport of Dunkirk to England. Naval vessels and hundreds of civilian boats were used in the evacuation, which began on May 26. When it ended on June 4, about 198,000 British and 140,000 French and Belgium troops had been saved.
