Very rare section of outer case and surround from the Burner cups in the combustion chamber from the engine on German V2 rocket which crashed over an area of North Fambridge near Romford in Essex on the 10th September 1944

This is a very rare to find recognizable part from one of the very famous German V2 rocket fired at England. This steel case part is section of outer case and surround from the Burner cups in the combustion chamber from the engine. The part which you can see in the last cutaway drawing picture is a section of side plate from just underneath the burner cups it has no original paintwork but doe shave some original steel colour finiish in a few places it has ripped and bent by the crash it is rusty and very solid it is in relic condition but not braking up or crumbling it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection and a nice part at 21 inches long by 5 inches wide. The part was recovered from the crash site of  the engine on German V2 rocket which was fired at England on the 10th September 1944.The rocket Appears to have disintegrated in the air and various components were scattered and crashed over an area of North Fambridge near Romford in Essex at 21.29pm that night. There was some slight damage to buildings on two farms. A very rare to find especially in this condition from a German V2 rocket fired at Great Britain during hart of Hitlers rocket offensive late in the war which comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with photos and diagram of the exact part this is.

The rocket was fired at 21.25pm by Batt. 1./485 at Wassenaar, Beukenhorst near the Hague in the Netherlands. This is now known as incident number 3.
