This is a fantastic condition British 2nd Pattern 1917 made Brodie Helmet which is semi relic condition at worst all it has been well used but a lovely example The helmet has no leather liner but has lots of original green paintwork very clear to see and has 3 holes drilled in it on its rim used as a wall hanger souvenir. The helmet has some light surface rust on the outside and inside but not that much and not very heavy rust it is in very solid condition it does retain a lot of its original colour it has been very well cleaned and with no holes in it at all it is perfect for display or any collection. This is very rare to get such a good condition near perfect British soldiers Brodie helmet it came from a private collection but originally found on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918 .The helmet comes with a A5 laminated information card.
