    This is a Very rare to find lend lease to the Russian Army British 6 pounder high velocity brass shell case dated 1943 used by the 6 pounder Anti Tank gun only 400 of these guns were ever sent to Russia .The brass shell case has most of its original markings on the base with no primer it even has some ink stamps on the side the brass colour has gone green from being buried and has a blown neck possibly when the shell was fired a very nice example of this famous shell case and rare to find from the Russian front and in recovered condition. The shell case was recovered from near the village Plota which is south Prokhorovka ware the main tank battle was on the 12th July 1943 where the largest Tank battle of the war and the last great German offensive of the war in the East in Russia. The shell case comes with A5 laminated information card.
