    This is a fantastic condition German Wooden ammunition crate which held KZ 40 fuses fired by Krigsmarine 3.7cm SK/C30 anti-aircraft gun very rare to find in this condition.The box was last packed on 22nd June 1944 on the complete label inside which is perfect condition,the box which has fantastic embossed maker marking and dated 1943 all clear to see. This wooden crate which stored airtight and dry the fuses as it is the metal lined version. The box still retains most of its original colour both hinges in nice condition also has both its metal carry handles are there and work the lock still works perfectly the lid still opens and closes perfectly and locks perfectly as well it has its all its original black stamped markings on the top of the box also on the side also with paper labels these are partly readable as well.The crate is perfect with no real damage at all and still very clean its lovely brown colour it has no woodworm and is a very rare on for the collection.The box was found in Dieppe originally used in the Normandy campaign in the summer of 1944 and comes with a pair of A5 laminated information cards.
