    This is a World War I British 2nd pattern pair of barbed wire cutters which do still work they are in semi- relic at worst no maker marking can be seen they are in very nice and solid condition with some surface rust and pitting but do still have some original black finnish they have been nicely cleaned and are overall a nice example of these Army issue British wire cutters.The cutters were recovered many years ago from the Somme battlefield a very nice and iconic find from this famous 1916-1918 battle.
