This is a very rare to find complete German 7.58 minenwerfer mortar shell which is empty and inert. The shell is in fantastic condition still with all of its original markings with numbers, maker marks, stamps and dated 1918 and still has a lot of its original black paintwork on the steel case the shell head has its original brass colour and all its markings it has been very well cleaned near perfect example of this famous mortar shell and very hard to find these days a rare one for the collection. This shell was found many years ago on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918 on the Western Front.
