    This is a nice find from the battlefield a German infantry assault badge which is in relic condition but very solid it has been well cleaned the markings on this badge are still partly visible  The badge is near complete but is damaged from being buried there is no pin on the back of it but still a nice battlefield find perfect for display or any collection. The badge was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield.
