    This is a very rare German SS belt buckle in relic condition used by soldier of the 1st SS Panzer Division, The steel belt buckle which is in very nice condition for a relic with its markings still partly visible on the front and on the back the eagle and swastika which is there partly on the back not much on the front the rare bit is the remains of white snow colour camouflage paint remains. The buckle is in nice solid condition it is rusty with a bit of rust damage it has been nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection and a rare find from this battlefield and in this condition. The belt buckle was recovered near Stavelot in the Ardennes Forest so this is how we know it is properly 1st SS Panzer Division they were the only SS troops in the area .A very nice and rare relic which was found many years ago and has been in a private collection for many years available for the first time since the war outside Belgium a lovely relic from the Ardennes Forest used during battle of Bulge in the winter of 1944-1945.
