    This is an original ww2 French soldiers water bottle it has very light rust underneath the green cloth cover which does have some holes but nothing to bad the bottle has some green paintwork left.The water bottle is in nice solid condition very rare to find with its cloth cover  which has been nicely cleaned and was recovered many years ago from the Dunkirk pocket  .The bottle is missing its cork stopper but is missing its leather carry strap the bottle is very solid it has no holes in it that can be seen it is perfect for display or any collection. This bottle came from a private collection in Dunkirk so left over from the Dunkirk pocket of 1940 a very nice relic from the famous battle.

    The Battle of Dunkirk took place in Dunkirk, France, during the Second World War between the Allies and Nazi Germany. As part of the Battle of France on the Western Front, the Battle of Dunkirk was the defence and evacuation of British and Allied forces in Europe from 26 May – 4 June 1940.
