This is a pair of German steel shell cases in nice condition fired by the 7.5cm leichtes infantry support gun. The shell cases are both steel made they have some damage around the neck from being fired or from rust damage and some rust damage as well they are in relic but solid condition they have some of there maker markings and one is dated 1944 that can be seen on the bottom fairly clear they have some rust damage around the necks after being fired they have been very well cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection. The shell cases are empty and inert and were recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield and come with A5 laminated information card.
