This is a rare find from the battlefield - a British first World War Tank shell  that has blown apart when the tank was hit. It is in relic but solid condition, rusty but not crumbling or braking up. It has been  well cleaned and would be a lovely addition  for any collection, perfect to display. This part was recovered in 2013 from  the site of  a destroyed tank in the Bourlon Woods the November 1917 battle part of the Allied Cambrai offensive.
