This is a German K98 rifle metal work no wood at all but it does still have its trigger and breach section in place also its end bracket for holding the wood.The rifle has no maker markings or date that can be seen it is deactivated by condition obviously plain to see also the barrel is blocked in side and rusty as well and with no moving parts they have all completely rusted solid or are missing. The rifle which is in nice condition for a relic it is rusty and pitted but not to bad at all and it has been very nicely cleaned and come up very well it is in very solid condition and a nice one for the collection perfect for display. The rifle was used by soldier in the 14th Panzer Division recovered near the town of Kalach in the area they captured in the battle of July-August 1942 on the Stalingrad front in Russia it comes with 2X A5 laminated information cards.
