    This is a German spring mines also known as bouncing betty bomb transport box container Number 323 which is pretty much complete. The lid is still attached and the hinge works nicely  it is in relic condition it is rusty but still solid the inside still retains a bit of its original black colour paintwork on the outside as well .The box with some rust holes on it and rust damage on the back only on the front it is a bit dented but it is missing its carry rack inside but it still has its carry handle on the lid but both its locks still work perfectly the box still retains a bit of original colour and has been very well cleaned perfect for display or any collection. The box was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield and it comes with 2x A5 laminated information cards with picture.
