    This is a unusual to find Russian 1st pattern 82mm mortar bomb tail fin un damaged,lovely condition. This fin is totally complete not even any bent fins and is completely un damaged does not look like it has been fired it is a very nice condition relic which is empty and inert which is de activated by condition this is perfect condition for a display a body that needs tail fin it would probably screw back in. The fin is lovely solid condition it still retains some of its original colour it has been very well cleaned the metal is only very lightly pitted and rusty but overall nice condition it is perfect for display or any collection .The mortar bomb  fin was recovered in the area of the Psel River, south of Kursk on the Voronezh front. This area was defended by them against the German 2nd SS Panzer corps during the battle part of Operation Citadel the German Kursk offensive in July-August 1943 in Russia. The bomb comes with A5 laminated information card with pictures.
