This is a nice German steel shell case in very nice condition fired by the 7.5cm leichtes infantry support gun. The shell case is steel made a pretty much undamaged it is in relic but solid condition it has most of its maker markings that can be seen including the date 1942 on the bottom fairly clear it has been very well cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection. The shell case is empty and inert and was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield and come with A5 laminated information card.
