Fantastic condition undercarriage leg hydraulic ram part,maker marked,completely recognizable from German Focke wulf 190 work number 789 of Stab JG26, shot down by RAF Ace Pierre Clostermann over France on the 27th August 1943.

This is a Fantastic condition undercarriage leg hydraulic ram part which is completely recognizable part as shown in the 9th picture of it on the aircraft.The part is pretty much undamaged and still has a lot of original black paintwork in place on the inside is all the part numbers and maker stamps still there very clear to see including the 190 stamp. This large lump of undercarriage is in fantastic condition still retains a lot of original colours it is dirty still in some places from the recovery and one end is lightly rusty but it is in nice solid condition the part has been very nicely cleaned but would clean up more it is perfect for display or any collection it stands 14 inches long by 3 half inches wide. This is a fantastic condition undercarriage part that comes from  German Focke wulf 190 work number 789 of Stab JG26, shot down by RAF Ace Pierre Clostermann over France on the 27th August 1943. The lovely condition part which comes with  3x A5 laminated information sheets with pictures and details and very rare to get such a usable part for a restoration project from a German aircraft for sale.

The Pilot was Unteroffizier H.Krieg he was born 15th June 1920 he was killed when the aircraft was shot down by and crashed at St Pol Mardyck in Pas de Calais. The combat took place during Ramrod S.8 while the RAF Spitfires were escorting Flying Fortresses on the first daylight raid to Blockhaus d’Eperlecques which was a V2 rocket facility. This focke wulf 190 was shot down by French ace Pierre Clostermann in his spitfire of 341 squadron based at Biggin Hill it was his 4th victory.
