This is a German MP40 machine gun loading tool which is a rare find from the battlefield.The tool is near complete with some small small rust holes and the moving part has rusted solid it is rusty but solid and is in relic condition this is a fantastic recognizable relic and a very unusual find from the battlefield it has been cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection.The loader was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket,Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield.
