This is a very nice group of parts which are a pair of aluminium airframe sections with black paintwork remains and one is a round inspection panel section and a mag allow engine cased part with a steel centre and pipe fitting at one end from the hart of one of the engines which is a nice clean condition part with steel colour in places. The parts which all have some of there original colours which only have some light surface rust in places all the parts have ripped and bent by the impact the crash they are in fairly clean condition the sections are around 4-5 inches long and are perfect for display or for any collection.The parts are from German Heinkel He 111 H-2 of stab 111/KG53 work number 2630 which was engaged in bombing sortie to London, the Heinkel lost a wing in a collision with crippled RAF hurricane L2059 flown by pilot officer G.M.Forrester of NO 605 squadron who was killed. The bomber crashed and exploded on Southfield Farm, Chawton near Alton in Hampshire at 5.50pm on the 9th September 1940 during the battle of Britain.
The crew members were Oberleutnant K. Meinecke bailed out slightly wounded and captured also Feldwebel .O.Broderix bailed out and captured unhurt.Feldwebel W.Wenninger also Feldwebel W.Doring and Feldwebel E.Wendorff were all killed.
