    This is a lovely condition airframe structure section which is aluminum and steel made. The part still retains a lot of a original colours and grey paintwork remains it has ripped and bent up by the the impact of the crash which is still very solid the part is 6 inches long by 5 inches wide and in perfect condition for display or any collection.The part was recovered from Junkers Ju88A-4 bomber work number 3173 shot down 18th September 1940 and crashed in Sandwich in Kent. A lovely part and very rare to get in such nice condition from the famous battle of Britain and German JU88 bomber this one flown a high ranking officer in the Luftwaffe.The panel comes with 2x A5 laminated information sheets with pictures.

    German Junkers Ju88A-4 bomber work number 3173, pilot Major M.Klechs was on a raid when it was shot down on the 18th September 1940 crashed in Sandwich,Kent.

    The Ju88 bomber which was piloted by Major M.Klechs the Gruppenkommandeur had dropped its bombs on Tilbury Docks when it caught fire under attack by RAF fighters attacked by Red section of 19 Squadron spitfires The plane was attacked by Flight Lieutenant W.G Clouston,Pilot Officer W.J Lawson also Pilot Officer W.Cunningham and Sergeant D.E Lloyd. The plane crashed at Eastry Mill near Sandwich in Kent some of the crew abandoned the plane over Kent. The crew were Major M.Klechs,Oberleutnant F.Lauth both were killed also Feldwabel F.Himsel bailed out and was captured wounded and Feldwabel F.Probst also bailed out and was taken prisoner un hurt.
