Aluminium airframe section with original green paintwork from Royal Navy Fairy Albacore bomber 5C of 828 squadron Fleet Air Arm Victorious shot down while attacking shipping,30th July 1941 at Petsamo it crashed Skottelvvatna, Steinland Finnmark in Norway.

This is a rare to find aluminium airframe structure section with green camouflage paintwork remains.The structure part which has lots of original colour as well it has slightly corroded from laying around on the forest floor for many years it has very little damage from the impact of the crash it is in nice solid condition the part has been very nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection the part is 8 inches long and 3 inches wide. The part which is very hard to find from this particular aircraft which is a Royal Navy Fairy Albacore bomber 5C of 828 squadron Fleet Air Arm "Victorious". The aircraft which was damaged by German flak anti-aircraft guns or Messerschmitt 109 fighters. The bomber was attacking shipping on the 30th July 1941 at Petsamo.The bomber crashed at Skottelvvatna, Steinland Finnmark, west of Oslo on the 9th April 1940 during the German invasion of Norway.The part comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with crash site pictures of what it looks like now.The parts have come from a private collection which the items were collected many years ago directly from the crash sites he visited and found including surface finds or some aircraft that were dug out and recovered all these parts now available for the first time.

German AA-fire and Messerschmitt fighters of 14./JG 77 shot down eleven Albacores and two Fulmars in the Kirkenes attack. This Albacore crashed at Skottelvvatna, Reinøysund.
