This is a German Army engineers carry case large case 14 inches by 13 inches in size not sure exactly what it carried it is maker marked and dated 1936.The tin is pretty much complete but in nice relic condition only lightly rusty still covered in the remains of the original red paintwork on the outside and inside but still solid but with some rust holes in the lid the hinge works fine the lid opens, closes but does not lock properly it still has its carry handle but this is rusted solid on the inside it has some of its brackets and the back has bolts in it as it bolted to something possibly a vehicle it is still a very solid relic nicely cleaned perfect for any display or collection and unusual to find from this very famous battlefield. The tin was recovered from near the village Plota which is south Prokhorovka ware the main tank battle was on the 12th July 1943 in Russia.
