Rare to find British matching pair of trench art brass shell cases cut down rare pre war stock dated 1902-1908 for the 4.7 inch Navel gun found on the Somme battlefield 1916-1918

This is a very rare to find British matching pair of trench art brass shell cases which are cut down rare pre war stock dated 1902-1908 for the 4.7 inch Navel gun. The cases are in fantastic condition nicely clean they still retain there brass colour with no real damage they do have a bit of discolour and have all there original markings on the bottom of it including the dates November 1902 and September 1908 and have a nice crowned top trench art design around the top of them they have been very well cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection and come with a A5 laminated information card. The cases come from a private collection but originally found on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918.
