Blown apart track link section with pins from Russian SU76 self propelled gun recovered from the site of a destroyed SU76 gun from the battlefield on the Seelow Heights in 1945 the opening battle for Berlin

This is a blown apart track link section which has one guide horn part sill on it and with one of its pin still in place that has ripped and bent by the impact of the explosion which is a 12 inch long part. The link in relic but solid condition they are rusty but solid and has been very well cleaned up they are perfect for display or any collection and a nice bit of  battle damaged Russian tank.The link remains was recovered from the site of a destroyed SU76 gun from the battlefield on the Seelow Heights in 1945 the opening battle for Berlin.A very nice relic from this famous battlefield in the last weeks of the war which comes with a laminated A5 information card with pictures.

This battle is often incorporated into the Battle of the Oder-Neisse. The Seelow Heights was where some of the most bitter fighting in the overall battle took place, but it was only one of several crossing points along the Oder and Neisse rivers where the Soviets attacked. The Battle of the Oder-Neisse was itself only the opening phase of the Battle of Berlin.

The result was the encirclement of the German 9th Army and the Battle of Halbe.
