    This is a British Home Guard 29mm Spigot mortar bomb remains which is the large remains of the bottom section of a bomb that has been fired very distinctive shape clear to see .The bomb section is rusty but solid and still heavy it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for any display or collection a real cracking example of this very rare to find British Home Guard weapon which is empty and inert. The mortar bomb remains was recovered near Ashford in Kent the site of a Home Guard training ground used from 1940 until 1944.A very rare Home Guard relic not many about at all from the front line in 1940 when Britain stood alone and comes with a A5 laminated information card.
