    This is a Rare pre war Reichswehr/Wehrmacht 1934 pattern soldiers shovel head relic condition. The head which is missing its wooden handle is in very nice solid condition it has cleaned up well it is very pitted and rusty from being buried but is perfect for display or any collection and unusual pattern shovel to get being the early pre war type. This shovel head was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket,Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield.
