    This is a aluminum airframe structure part from inside a wing or it is part of the tail fin area possibly inside the rudder still its nice original colour with some gray paintwork but not unique to one area of the missile . The part is in nice condition it has ripped off by the impact of the explosion and crash it is in relic but solid condition and has been nicely cleaned perfect for display or any collection and is 7 inches long by 3 inches in size. This is a rare one for any collection the parts were recovered from the crash site of German V1 rocket which crashed north of village Billum on 27th March 1945 in Denmark.The part comes with 2 X A5 laminated information cards with diagram information card to show where the part is exactly from on the rocket marked off with a coloured box.

    The flying bomb is reported to have come from a south easterly direction at approx. 19:00 hrs and fell 15 meters west of Tørvevejen road about 3 kilometres north of the village of Billum. It exploded on impact and debris was spread over a large area. Some parts from the rocket were recovered at the time and some many years after war in the late 1960’s and the early 1970’s.
