This is a Very rare small aluminium airframe section with a Russian star scratched in to it which looks like it has been done by a Russian soldier after the aircraft was shot down and done as a souvenir mostly likely. The small panel has some corrosion nothing to bad it does still retain most of its original colour and it has only very lightly damaged by the impact of the crash it is in nice solid condition the part has been very nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection the part is 4 half inches long. The part is from German JU-87 stuka diver bomber of Sturzkampfgeschwader 77 (StG 77) which was shot down and crashed near the Village of Gnilts attacked by the 46th Panzer Corps during the opening offensive of operation citadel on 5th July 1943 during the attack on the Northern side of the Kursk salient, 5th July-12th July 1943 in Russia.The part comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with many pictures.
