    This is a very rare large section of aluminium airframe structure an edged section with lots of 2 tone green camouflage paintwork remains which is a late war 1944 pattern paint scheme. All the paintwork remains very clear to see and it still retains a lot of original colour and a lovely clean section. The section has ripped off by the impact of the crash it is in relic but solid condition and has been nicely cleaned perfect for display it is 12 inches long in size. The part has been recovered from the crash site of Japanese Mitsubishi A6M5a Zero fighter shot down and crashed on the Island of Leyte in the Philippines from the battle of Leyte Gulf October-December 1944 and comes with A5 laminated information sheets.
