    This is a very rare find from the battle of Britain it is a complete engine piston crank shaft fom the hart of the jumo engine on German JU87 stuka dive bomber. The piston crank shaft which held 12 pistons and is pretty much complete it has a bit of damage from the impact of the crash with a few dents and knocks but nothing to bad it is still pretty much straight.The crank shaft still has some original black paintwork and some colour it has been very well cleaned it is in fantastic condition and is a very nice and large heavy lump of engine from this famous aircraft which is perfect for display or any collection and a rare one for the collection this heavy engine part comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards.The engine piston is from inside Junkers Jumo 211 engine that was recovered by fisherman in 1970’s from the English Channel near Selsey Bill and is believed to be from.

    German Ju87b-1 stuka dive bomber of 3/stG2 which was shot down at 1.00pm on the 16th August 1940 during the Battle of Britain. The plane crashed into the sea west of Selsey Bill it was shot down by RAF Hurricanes of Number 43 Squadron and 601 Squadron. The crew Unteroffizier P.Bohn and Obergefreiter J.Bader both were picked up by Royal Navy launch and captured.
