Internal fuel tank cap or inspection cap with sand colour paintwork from German sdkfz 251 half track recovered from near the village of Plota near Prokhorovka on the battlefield at Kursk 1943 in Russia

This is a internal fuel tank cap or inspection cap the rare bit still lots of original sand paint remains. The cap is in relic but solid condition it is complete and has all the screw thread still intact it is rusty but solid and has been very well cleaned up it is over 6 inches wide and perfect for display or any collection. The cap was recovered from near the village of Plota near Prokhorovka on the battlefield at Kursk 1943 where the largest Tank battle of the war and the last great German offensive of the war in the East in Russia. The cap comes with  A5 laminated information card.
