    This is a very rare to get large aluminium Interior fuselage wall and roof panel section that still retains its original colour clear to see and is a very large section of panel which is a few parts still riveted together and is very solid condition .The panel has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection and is 10 inches long by 8 inches wide.The part was recovered from an abandoned JU52 transport aircraft which is wrecked around the old German Airfield outside what was Stalingrad and very hard to get relic from the Stalingrad pocket of 1942-1943 and comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards..

    The panel was recovered from the wreck of an abandoned JU52 transport aircraft, near the old German airfield at Voroponovo. An area in the 6th Army pocket during the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942-1943.

    After the 6th army was in circled the Germans hurriedly prepared the Tatsinskaya airfields (capacity of up to 600 Ju 5000 and Ju86 aircraft - 11 groups) and Morozovsk (capacity of up to 400 aircraft) as the main supply bases for encircled troops, and Chernyshkovsky, Kotelnikovo, Zimovniki and Salsk aerodromes as auxiliary. Inside the encirclement ring for the reception of transport aircraft, the German command used 5 airfields (B.Rososhka, Basargino, Kennel, Gumrak, Voroponovo), which had up to 20 Bf 109 fighters raised for the transport crews.
