    This is a group of 5 large size engine parts and aluminium airframe sections 2 of them and 3 internal engine parts the pipework end has maker markings all the parts still with some original paintwork also with original colours that are very clear to see but still with some dirt attached from the recovery.     Messerschmitt was escorting Heinkel 111’s of KG53 to attack Hornchurch aerodrome but he was shot down in combat by Pilot Officer Wicks of 56 squadron during a dogfight over the Thames Estuary. The Messerschmitt crashed at Canewdon near Rochford in Essex. The pilot E.Buschmeyer baled out and was captured.
