    This is a very rare to find from a German bomber shot down over United Kingdom MG15 machine gun drum magazine which is in relic condition with some rust holes and rust damage but still a nice find. The magazine which has no real maker stamps that can be seen it also has its ammunition spacers inside of it as well and does have a large impact hole in the bottom of it.The magazine is rusty but nice it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection and is very solid not braking up or crumbling and is still a very solid relic and very rare to get in such nice condition. The magazine which is empty of all ammunition comes from the crash site of  Dornier DO 217 bomber work number 5591 on the night of the 17th- 18th January 1943 at 04.30. The bomber was shot down by RAF night fighter the Dornier crashed in to a chalk pit at Pilgrims House, Westerham in Kent.The magazine comes with 3x A5 laminated information cards. 

    The Dornier was on a night raid over England when it was intercepted by RAF Beaufighter of number 29 squadron flown by Wing Commander C.M Wightboycott and Flying Officer E.A Sanders. The crew of the Dornier were Unteroffizier J.Schnabel,Gefreiter W.Schafer also Gefreiter E.Raab and Unteroffizier R.Hartenberger they were all killed.
