     This is a German Signal's Antenna Hook and wire for putting up communication cables.The hook which is aluminium made and maker marked and dated 1940 it is in good condition and complete with all of its original colour it is a bit pitted and damaged, dirty and scratched from use but no other damage overall a nice example of this unusual to find German item which is perfect for display or any collection.The hook was found in the Calais area many years ago it has been in a private collection ever since then it was used by the Wehrmacht during the battle of France May-June 1940 or on the Atlantic wall defence or possibly even in both available for the first time outside of France since the war.
