    This is a rare find from the battlefield a German soldier of the 2nd Royal Bavarian Division brass belt loops 5 of them in all 3 of them are broken but these ones have clear to see maker marking on them.The brass has partly discolored they are partly green in some places buy they do still have some original colour they are still solid and have been very well cleaned they are good condition for relics not braking up or falling apart they are perfect for display or any collection.The loops were recovered in 2014 from a pit of buried equipment in what was a German trench line near the village of Gueudecourt this area was defended by the 2nd Royal Bavarian Division part of the German 2nd Army during the battles of September-October 1916 on the Somme a very nice and rare relic from the famous Somme battlefield of 1916 1918.
