This is a large perspex framed German Army captured Belgium or French map fragment this shows the Liege area of the Ardennes the map has fallen apart over the years .This rare to find paper relic a lovely bit of map which still retains a lot of its original colours the paper it is still solid and not braking up of crumbling it has been mounted in to a perspex fronted frame which is a nice size at 16 inches long and 12 inches wide it is perfect for display or in a collection. The complete map was taken from vehicle used by 116th Panzer Division recovered from near Houffalize in the Ardennes forest,1944-1945
