Fantastic condition battle damaged German 20mm Flak 30/38 Anti-Aircraft gun magazine which is not complete with black paintwork remains,markings,belonging to Luftwaffe 311th Flak battalion recovered from a Lake near Bastogne,battle of the Bulge 1944-1945

This is a fantastic condition German 20mm Flak 30/38 Anti-Aircraft gun magazine which is not complete it is missing its internal parts but it is empty of any ammunition and is missing its bottom plate.The magazine is battle damaged from the impact of an explosion but still with some original black paintwork and lots of original steel color clear to see it is in very nice condition it has some of its original markings which are very clear to see it is really semi-relic rather then relic it does not have much rust or rust damage it does have some impact damage it does still have some dirt and muck attached from the lake bed but is not braking up or falling apart it has been well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection and one of the best magazines i have ever had from the battlefield. The magazine belonged to Luftwaffe 311th Flak battalion recovered with tiger 1 tank parts from a Lake East of Bastogne from battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-1945.Due to the very low number of Tiger 1 tanks in the battle it is very easy to work out what units all the equipment came from recovered in this area. The magazine comes with a A5 laminated information card with pictures.

German Luftwaffe 311th Flak battalion relics all found with Tiger 1 tank parts from a tank in the only Wehrmacht unit with Tiger 1 tanks in the whole battle and offensive 14 of them most were destroyed.They were in the 4th Company of Schwere Panzer Abteilung 506 also the 26th Volksgrenadier Division and elements of the Panzer Lehr Division were there and of course the 311th Flak battalion were with them in this area during the battle and the encirclement of Bastogne over Christmas 1944.
