    This is German rare pattern late war pair of barbed wire cutters used by Storm troopers and combat engineers. These wire cutters which has a snapped end on one blade they do not work they have rusted solid and do not work but with more cleaning it may be possible they are in very nice and solid condition with rust and pitting but they have been nicely cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection and overall a nice example of this unusual design German barbed wire cutters. The cutters were found on the famous 1918 Somme battlefield a very nice and iconic find from this famous battle.
