This is a Rare to find track Wheel from Russian T-37 amphibious light tank. The wheel is complete but the tyre is not the steel wheel has some original paint remains but not much it is a nice relic still solid condition with no major damage it is rusty but not falling apart or braking up at all the rubber tyre again solid and not braking up still its black colour has no maker markings that can be seen the wheel has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection and rare to get as this early war tank was not made in vast numbers like other Russian tanks. The wheel was recovered from the site of a destroyed tank it was recovered from the Battlefield around Moscow fought October 1941 until January 1942 in Russia. The wheel comes with a A5 laminated information card.

The T-37A was not designed to see action against any other AFVs, but rather for reconnaissance, screening, communication and active infantry support. Their amphibious capabilities were particularly useful in many areas judged impassable. The typical platoons comprised of a command radio version (T-37U or TU) and up to eight T-37A. In June 1941, they took the brunt of the German offensive, lacking armor and used to support infantry in desperate situations, their losses becoming appalling. The survivors were either shipped to rear sectors for training or auxiliary defence units.
