This is a Cockpit area electrical handle which has clear to see maker markings it was used for the cleaning of an unknown item that i can work out.The part which the handle has rusted solid and partly snapped off and does not move it is steel and aluminium made still with some original black paintwork it has been very nicely cleaned and still retains a lot of its original colour the size of the section is 4 half inches long by 3 inches wide and is perfect for display or any collection.The part comes from Focke wulf 189 work number 788 [125] V7+1A "Uhu" Finnmarksvidda of 1./NaGr 32 crashed in Finland on the 15th October 1944 .The item comes with 2x A5 laminated information sheets with picture and details.

The plane made a forced landing on the thin ice of a lake. The wheels broke through the ice and the aircraft was blown up by the Germans. The pilot might be Lt.Friedrich Drexel*. Parts from this aircraft were salvaged in 1993 and ended up in England.
